IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE WINTER WEATHER: These are cabins, and during cold weather—especially when outdoor temperatures drop below 20°F—the cabins can become quite cold. Due to limited insulation under the floors, floors may feel cold even around 32°F. We provide extra bedding and blankets in all units, as well as heaters. Please note that there are no heaters in the bathrooms, so it’s important to leave bathroom doors open to help circulate warmth. Heaters are set to 70°F and may be adjusted up to 75°F maximum. In extreme cold (below 20°F and down to approximately -4°F), the indoor temperature may only reach around 50°F at most. Guests should plan accordingly and are welcome to bring additional cold-weather items for comfort. - The cabin was fully renovated and designed during the Winter of 2024 to be a dreamy oasis. Also less than 0.25 miles from the Salmon River, snowmobile/ATV trails, and less than a mile from Tailwater Lodge. This one-bedroom cabin sleeps 4 to 5 comfortably and is ideal for small groups, couples, and families. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and two twin beds. All mattresses are memory foam for your ultimate comfort. The kitchen has all of the essentials, so feel free to treat it like your own. The living room has new, modern furniture, and above it is a smart TV with your favorite apps. Our modern bathroom has all of your shower essentials (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). The property backs up to over an acre of backyard of trees for your privacy and seclusion.

-Extra Guests: For each additional guest beyond that, we kindly charge a small fee of $25 per extra guest. -Parking: Please limit to two cars to ensure space for all. -No Smoking: To keep the air fresh and clean, smoking is not permitted inside the unit. -Smart TV: Enjoy our Roku TV with access to popular streaming apps. Cable is not provided. WIFI: We offer WIFI, but please be aware that because we are in a rural area, WIFI can be spotty. Security Cameras: We have cameras on the exterior of the property for your safety and ours. Outdoor Environment: Because we are a cabin in the woods, you may encounter the occasional bug, critter, or falling leaves. Power Outages: While rare, power outages can happen due to unforeseen circumstances (ie. weather, etc.). If you experience an outage during your stay, please let us know and we will send our handyman. Temperature: Each room is fitted with a heating unit for your comfort. During very extreme temperatures (below freezing), they maintain temperatures between 60-70 degrees. Pet Policy: Well behaved pets are welcome (for a small fee), so keep that in mind when booking a stay with us. We respectfully ask for your help in looking after your pet and ensuring they are kept off of all furniture. We understand that can be difficult so if you must allow them on furniture, please bring a sheet or blanket for them to be on. If it is winter or there is wet weather, please wipe their paws/feet off after coming inside. This helps keep the Hideaway a pet friendly place! Winter Disclaimer: During extremely cold weather (below 35°F), our heaters keep the home comfortable, but indoor temperatures may range between 65-70°F. We do our best to provide snowplowing for access, but please be aware that heavy snowfall may cause delays. We recommend guests bring warm clothing and sturdy footwear for winter conditions.
